Formerly known as Chesterfield Café, this place has changed little in terms of policy and clientele. Quiet and homely during the day, it gets busy in the evenings and packed on weekends. It is definitely a place to be seen, attracting a mixed crowd of Russians and foreigners from all walks of life (from rail-road workers to embassy staff) who manage to get along harmoniously and enjoy time spent under the same roof. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays (it starts at 10pm) which is followed by a disco and for some might end with an early breakfast! Wednesday nights - traditionally being ex-pat nights - bring together both foreign businessmen and travelers who come in the hope of a break from the Russian environment and to make new acquaintances.
