Built in the 1920's as a Spanish Colonial style mansion for a wealthy New York financier, it was several years before this beautiful building, at the base of Camelback Mountain, became a hotel. Recently, the hotel underwent a multimillion-dollar restoration project. Bathrooms feature old-style fixtures with a tub and pedestal sink. Enjoy dining at the upscale restaurant, T. Cook's onsite. Visit the Alvadora Spa for some relaxation. Nearby shopping is available at Scottsdale Fashion Square, or the Biltmore Fashion Park.
