A Kazimierz classic, Ariel won the battle over the right to use the name with Alef, which also used to be called Ariel, right next door. Here is a fine example of Kazimierz architecture and style, perhaps what the whole area looked like before the second World War. The food is not kosher, but it is traditional European Jewish cuisine. Most of the well-known favourites are available, from Pierogis, Dumplings, to Borscht, Cold Beet Soup.
