Winnetou and Old Shatterhand are loved by children all over the world, but the great German novelist Karl May also wrote more serious books dealing with religion and mysticism. Visitors can now wander around May's former home in Radebeul, through his library and study and out into the garden, where a log cabin contains a fascinating exhibition about North American Indians and their struggle against the white man.
