Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 13 2009 i will not stay in this hotel again the hotel was awful and the service was sooooo bad.My family stayed there last May '09 and all of us say the same thing. We thought wa got a good deal beacause the room is $20 cheaper than the one next door.Anyway we learned our lesson.I'd better pay a little higher price with a nice and clean room, with a friendly clerk and a better service.Never, never, never stay in this hotel again.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 20 2009 Plan on Returning We were very happy with our stay. Returning customers and will be back next May. Very clean and hotel friendly. Perfectly located. Couldn't have picked a better location with great value.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 15 2008 Also Disappointed This hotel is in need of a BIG OVER HAUL!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 09 2008 Excellent Choice For Families!!! This hotel was great! The room was nice, the kitchenette was a plus! We took along our 5yr. old and 7yr old, and it was great! The hotel is right on the beach, we enjoyed listening to Shepard's(hotel next door) music nightly! The beach is a little rocky though. The hotel is also close to everything. If you have smaller kids I would reccommend that you rent a car so that you can see more of the island and kids get tired quick! We didn't have the ocen-view room, but we could still see the ocean very well from our balcony! Affordable,Clean,Quiet and Great Location!!!
Reviewed by: BlkButterfly from on May 28 2008 Great Location. We had a great vacation in Clearwater. The hotel is centrally located so you we didn't need to rent a car. . Reasonable prices compared to some of the other hotels. Staff was friendly and will be returning.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 09 2008 disappointed while it is an indoor corridor hotel, they still used the old steal doors, which have been patched, and repainted many times. The room was large, but had a smokey smell for a 100% non smoking hotel. The sofa bed was worn, and needed replacing. The carpets were in bad need of a good shampooing. The beach area is small, but also rocky (wear shoes) and very dirty. Had discarded cola cans, clothing and other misc. items. Both hotels on both sides had music playing in the outside bars. It is close enough to walk to the public beach, which is good, as the traffic is horendous. Typical tourist type of location. The hotel is in need of up dating badly. Breakfast fit onto a shelf that is used to hold flowers the rest of the day. Plan on eating out if breakfast is a major meal for you. It is over priced for what your get!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 08 2008 Best spot for the money I loved being on the beach side for the money. I read all the reviews before I stayed and I still went for the weekend and the hotel was great. The hotel next door does have loud music all night but I enjoyed it. I will continue to stay there.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 22 2008 THIS IS A DUMP ! this place was a dump! got there mid day and it seemed nice enough until I went up to the room! Oh My God! This place was dirty, sand and stains everywhere. even the elevator was full of sand. Upstairs when the elevator door opened we weren't sure if it was safe to get off. The hallways were dark and had a really bad smell. we started down the hallway and noticed that the doors didn't match, and some of them were all banged up - like there had been several fights in that place, or they had been broken into? anyway - we didn't even make it to the room. We cancelled and left immediately. Our safety was more important.
