Back to Laguna Beach Resort Great location and facilities Hotel is located among group of 5 consective hotels that offer a great deal of variety for different activities. The beds were rather uncomfortable (hard) though.

Stunning hotel, waterpark great for kids, stayed in Anadam suite, and was happy with accomodation, view of beach and pool,Would definately go back, food at hotel very expensive, we ate on the beachfront, half the price, drinks in room very expensive, so go to local supermarket and stock up !Great kids club, friendly staff, Spa expensive, but locals are at the pool to give massage at reasonable price. Cant wait to go back !!!!

Reviewed by: Rose from on May 05 2007 Not as good as it looks on website Laguna Beach resort was suppose to be dlx 5 star, but it didn't feel like one, not in facilities, rooms, food or room. We stayed in the newly renovated premier deluxe rooms. The rooms were dark and dank and still look old and run down( despite the new renovations). The bathroom was badly designed, the glass shower screen was too narrow and does little to prevent water from splashing all over the bathroom, water flowed from around the bathtub and flooded the floor. The seaview was almost non exisistent as there are many huts of beach vendors, that almost totally obliterated the view (and we are already on the 3rd floor), for rooms on the 4th floor, the view would be blocked by the trees, so it is defintely not worth paying for a seaview. Breakfast selection was poor and was exactly the samefor the 3 days that we were there. The waterpark isn't as great as it looks on the website ... this is the first hotel that we had ever stayed at where our kids didn't even ask to go to the pool.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 12 2006 we will return in 2007 We have visited 6 times to this hotel and like the pool facilities, also the roomsare good and cater for all your needs. They are being renovated this year and also part of next year so there are builders on site but we never experienced any noise.sadly the new decor is a little too modern, doing away with the sunken baths.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 16 2006 Careful - rooms being renovated We visited in July 06, and the rooms were in process of being renovated (even though this was not mentioned when we made our reservations). Lots of noise and inconvenience during the day. It's good they are renovating the rooms, because they need it. We visited in 2001, and the rooms were beautiful, but since then the rooms have become very worn. My advice is to not visit until the renovations are complete.

Reviewed by: aziz from on Jun 02 2006 Standard Fare For the amount I paid for this holiday, I think the hotel is overpriced. It has a lovely water park with a nice water slide for the children, and a nice kids club area. However, the service standard is rather poor. What is the point of having a great water park when the staff cannot understand the requests of guests. It is exasperating when I have to ask for pool towels with many gesturing and guessing. It is not good enough standard for a hotel to charge such high prices and not meet up the quality of the guests. I am surprised it is ranked number one here in yahoo. I have been in better hotels in Phuket that are officially rated 3-stars and charge 5 times less.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 21 2006 nice hotel a little on the expencive side This was my first visit to this country and my I say what a nice place and also nice people . The hotel was a bit out of the way but for some people I guess that would be a blessing . We hired a jeep so we had the best of both worlds , the drinks and food I found expensive compared to elsewhere. All in all the hotel was spotless and very friendly
