Go downstairs
The church is so formal. It is lovely and you must learn the tale of St. Mungo. It forms the motto and artistic rendering of Glasgow's heritage: the tree, fish, ring and bell. But go downstairs to the chapel, Don't miss it!

absolutely wonderful!
I guess you might have to be a Scottish history buff to REALLY enjoy this. The first visit to Glasgow I did not get a change to walk up to the Necropolis, but the second visit I had set aside a whole afternoon to walk and enjoy the history of the graves and memorials.

QUITE A SITE
THE GLASGOW CATHEDRAL WAS VERY EXQUISITE I MUST SAY. IT'S SORTA LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A MOVIE AND YOU WOULD SAY "MAN I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT THAT PLACE." ONLY THING THAT DIDN'T SIT WELL WITH ME WAS THE GRAVEYARD THAT SURROUNDS....IT'S HUGE AND U HAVE TO WALK THRU IT!!! BUT ALL IN ALL IT'S VERY ENJOYABLE N U GET PLENTY OF EXERCISE FROM THE HIKE U HAVE TO ADJOURN ON LUCKILY ENOUGH I WASN'T WEARING HEELS:-)!!! VERY VERY VERY EXCELLENT ATTRACTION......DEF A MUST SEE IF U EVER VISIT GLASGOW:)

interesting
Visit it while you are in town, I specially love the graveyard and its atmosphere..and I like going there when the cathedral is closed, it is alot quieter up there then. Also don't miss the Necropolis but wear decent shoes because you will have to do alot of walking, specially uphill..great views from the top of the Necropolis!

A Must See
This place was one of the most amazing places Ive ever been too. The church is like something right out of a movie and it is free, even for the tour. You can either go at it on your own or do the tour. The grave yard that surrounds it is huge and also something you have to walk through. It is quite a hike if you want to go to the top so wear comfy shoes.
