Back to Peabody Orlando (The) look before you leap i booked an All-inclusive reseravtion here and end up getting nothing but the room. I ended up paying a extra $100.00 at check out time. No meals was included or attractions passes that was advertised. The hotel was very large and clean but over priced.
Reviewed by: Epknows from on Jun 13 2009 Very Nice Hotel I recently stayed at the Peabody for a convention I was attending. The hotel was very nice, and the front desk staff were excellent. The location of the hotel worked out well as it is right across the street from the convention center, and all of the Orlando attractions are within a 15 minute driving distance. The shopping centre is a 10 minute walk up the street and has some excellent restaurants and bars such as BB Kings and Tommy Bahamas. Don't miss the dueling pianos at Howlin At The Moon bar.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 20 2009 AWESOME This is simpple awesome, one of the best hotels that i have ever seen in my whole life, the front desk service was pretty good, the valet service retrieved my car pretty quick when i wanted to go out, even though one time my car was brought a little bit dirty in the inside, they pronptly cleaned that up and their speech was simply awesome, the rooms are not that big, yes i have to agree but, the restaurants simply maje it up.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 26 2008 One of the Best!! I absolutely loved this hotel!! It was definitely one of the best that i have ever stayed at! I stayed with a couple of my closest friends, and let me tell you that even though it was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny! The pool was just wonderful, the food was excellent, and the room was to die for! Their service is amazing because they make you feel very important and comfertable!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 18 2008 We were very disappointed For the fanfare and price - we expected a luxury room and above average hotel amenities. What we found instead was a mediocre room (along the lines of a Holiday Inn or a Travel Lodge) and that we were nickel and dimed for any amenity that was offered. To start with – they eliminated the (free) self-park parking lot and now offer ‘only’ valet parking and charge $18.00 per day. They charge a $10.00 per day ‘Hotel Service Fee’ which is supposed to cover 2 bottles of water per day, trolley tickets and complementary coffee (tea is not included) in the morning. What they do not tell you is that you have to ask for the water and trolley tickets each day and the coffee is only available until 7:00 AM. If you should sleep until 7:00 AM and want coffee or tea when you wake up you’ll have to purchase it from the B-line Diner in the hotel for $3.20 (10 oz cup) as there is no coffee pot in the room. Believe me when I say that their coffee is no Starbucks albeit twice the price. Our next shock was the exercise room. After paying $300 a night (factoring in room, parking, hotel service fee, taxes, etc.) we were appalled to find that they wanted an additional $10.00 (plus tax) per person per day to use the exercise equipment. It seemed that every time we wanted to do something at the hotel – there was an extra fee. We truly expected someone to approach us at the pool to see how many towels we were using so that they could charge the appropriate towel rent (the use of the towels were included)
Reviewed by: NJ from on Mar 20 2008 Would love to go back! We stayed for three nights at The Peabody - a beautiful top class hotel. I can't praise the staff enough. We had a small problem with our bath that couldn't be rectified and the Front Desk Manager, Rachel, plus the staff could not have been more helpful. We were moved immediately to a better room. We just left our bags, went out for the day and all was done for us.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 04 2008 Not 4 stars Not impressed by what is supposed to be a luxury hotel, because of modest rooms, poor food and high prices.
Reviewed by: Mark from on Feb 21 2008 Great Hotel! Husband & I went. Hotel beautiful. Rooms large, beds comfortable, service was the best! Everyone who works there smiles and is helpful. Food excellent, great diner on premises you can take-out food back to room. Great location, bus goes main road - lots of restaurants. Can't wait to go back.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 29 2008 Enjoyed our stay! We booked through a discounted travel website. We were treated tremendously well by the staff. We requested a king room (even though the website would only allow us to book a double), an early check-in, and a late check-out. The staff happily granted all our requests without any hesitation. We dined in the B-Line diner - Asian Big Bowl and Quesedillas were delicious. We also tried some desserts - they were average to above average. Pool was wonderful and not crowded. Everything is a bit pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for this type of hotel. Great location - close to the theme parks, but far enough away to be peaceful. Hotel is right next to convention center. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable!
