I visited this wat yesterday in the early morning... probably one of the best hour to do it... This place is lovelw, peacefull, full of history and a "must".

I found Wat Chalong Temple to be very relaxing, gave peace of mind, a beautiful temple.I visited just before noon and it was quite busy, I think it is a good experience for the whole family.

I visited the temple at about mid-day when it was very hot. But this did not reduce the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the place.

I really liked this temple. The main building on three floors was splendid. The murials on the walls are really striking. From the top you can get some good views of the surrounding area. There are stalls around the Wat where you can buy souveneirs etc. Its not a long visit, an hour at the most but well worth it.
