Vehoniemenharju Museum Car Exhibition can be found along the Tampere-Lahti road, about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) from Tampere. There are over 50 different old and restored cars in the exhibition. Several cars have a very interesting history behind them. Admission is free. There is a scenery café at the museum, in which you can enjoy a salad or soup for lunch or have a cup of coffee. The café is proud of its delicious specialty, "spoon doughnuts" that are made according to a recipe from the 1920s. There is also a delicious white-chocolate cake, and cakes and sweet buns to fit special diets. Next to the exhibition hall there is a nature reserve and an observation tower (built in 1927) from which there is a wonderful view to both sides of the high ridge.
