Overpriced. Only a shallow pool. Pool smelled badly of bird poop. Tiny beach to sit at. No beach to swim without a life vest. Poor service from the waiter.

We ended up purchasing a tour from Aquaworld through our hotel. I was very dissappointed because it was so boring. The Island was littered with trash and the smell of sewer waste...totally not what they advertised. The only highlight of this trip was the boat ride back to our hotel....the crew entertained everyone with hilarious costumes. I also enjoyed our brief trip into town for shopping and the food that came with the package. However, I couldn't bare to spend another minute there. Don't waste your time in this place, instead,go somewhere else like Xel-Ha (more expensive, but better value).

This is a total ripoff. The GARAFFON park is a good idea in theory, but if you are an experienced water sports person (scuba, freedive, etc) they treat everyone like children and tourists. They make you wear a life jacket for snorkelling EVERYWHERE on the island. If you DO decide to go anyway, take a ferry from Puerto Juarez,(bus drops off there) It's like 5$ and NO admission fees to the island. Very little foods and not much else to do besides aquatic stuff and sunbathing. AVOID GARAFFON and DO NOT TAKE THE 45-75 package tour the hotels push.

We had a wonderful, relaxing day at Garafon. Will definitely go back when visiting Cancun on our next cruise in November. Thanks for a beautiful experience!

Everytime we go to Cancun we try to visit different places. Of all the family attractions in Cancun and surrounding areas, this was the best. The place was beautiful, inexpensive, they have a friendly staff, and offer great food. They offer a variety of water activities, but this place is perfect if you just want to relax and catch some rays. I highly recommend Garrafon.

Everytime I go to Cancun,I always go to Isla Mujeres.Get your package from Garrafon itself.I always pick the all-inclusive.Nice park,great food,clean environment & it has the best area for snorkeling.The water was cold though.I highly recommend seeing this island. Don't use "Aquaworld" to buy your package.You'll end up waiting for a long time and snorkeling is about 30 min.for the whole day.The food that comes with the package is ghetto.Aquaworld has it's own ghetto park - horrible - big mistake!

I loved all of Isle Mujeres - especially garafon park. The snorkelling is a must. The ocean side pool, even the parrots in the trees! I can't wait to go back.
