What a disappointment! Other than the location, this place has, in my opinion, nothing going for it. Next to our room was a constantly barking dog- there was a doggie gate in the doorway of that room, so clearly the barking dog was not a surprise to management, just to us. We had left our dogs home and were hoping for a relaxing vacation which the barking did not allow. The bathroom was old, small and non-functional for one person, let alone two. The kitchen was also old and unappealing-silver foil covered the burner bibs. The reception area smelled from several huge scented burning candles. The St. Regis is a few blocks away, was less per night, clean, new, large and unscented. We lost our first night's money, but it was well worth it to have a true, relaxing and quiet environment. To each his own.......
