Location and ease. Once you go ski in ski out there is no turning back. We stayed at the silvertree hotel a couple years ago, and it was an excellent hassle free vacation. We are headed back to snowmass Feb. '07 and we didn't hesitate in booking our room at silver tree once again.

The staff were helpful in finding you things to do, and helping you find ways to get there. The hotel room was comfortable, and you can use their humidifier to combat the dry winter air. Really thoughtful.

I just stayed at the Silvertree and it was a very good hotel! As someone who loves to ski, I was happy that I could just walk out of my room onto Snowmass Mountain. The hotel's restaurant was a good family restaurant and had good food. I went 15 min into Aspen for upscale cuisine though. I have been to Vail, Beaver Creek and Jackson hole and this was the best ski experience I had and ski hotel I have seen.
