Can't wait to go back
Me and my husband spent out 25th anniversary here and we loved it. We stayed in one of the cottages. very romantic. loved the outdoor shower. we stayed 4 days and did not want to leave. The beds were so comfortable we could have slept all day. The restraunt was a little pricy for the amount of food you get but it was good. The only bad thing about our stay was they were under construction and you had to walk by all the work they were doing and the noise. Other than that , wonderful experience and would love to stay again for our future anniversaries

Could've Been Better
Do not eat here at night. You cannot see the creek or the surrounding area very well at night. Do not allow them to seat you in the corner under or near a bright light. As it is right by the creek, you will be sharing your food and drinks with lots of gnats big and small. I would suggest eating here right before the sun sets. During our experience, the waiter dropped a glass of wine (not on us thankfully). The thing that bothers me about that is NO ONE came to pick up the pieces or sweep up the mess. Must have something to do with being seated in the corner. There was a server who DID come to our corner, but he stood behind us, kicked a piece of glass (as if he didn't know it was there), and continued to walk back from where he came. He were completely confused by what he was doing. Also, the food server that brought us our food seemed rude. The food was only okay...can't say the price was justified by the service and view at all. I bet there are much better places to eat at in Sedona...at least I sure hope there is.

2-star room for a 4-star price
We booked a room in the Lodge expecting something worthy of your hotel's 4-4.5 star rating. Me and my wife were celebrating our anniversary and we were very disappointed with the quality of the room. The room we received was room 440 and it was the first room right next to the main lobby/check-in area. This means all of the events the hotel holds in the morning and the evening we will be in the middle it whether we wished to participate or not. Also the room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller. This did not seem like the getaway that we imagined as the room looked like it belonged to the day's inn. The tv was sub-par compared to most hotels of the same rating and there was a noticeable smell in the room. The sheets were not soft, the bed was not comfortable or inviting and the decor of the room was old and dingy. The carpet and the chairs also had stains on them. Also the patio had a view of a large wall and vines. Apparently the perk of your hotel being right on the creek is not available to Lodge guests. Your hotel also does not have any amenities like a pool or a workout room and I was told they directed guests to a "sister hotel" which is even worse than the lodge if they wanted to enjoy those benefits. The high star rating is apparently because of the cottages. They looked very nice and luxurious... but at 3 times the rate! Compared to EVERY 4-4.5 star hotel in Sedona this was the worst deal I have ever seen. Because of this shock and not wanting to pay for a rate for a high rated hotel and receive a 2 star room we decided to leave. This process only made it worse since the staff did not seem to know what they were doing. The staff ended up charging the cancellation fee 3 TIMES (This is almost $900!) and I had to make several calls over 2 days span (thanks for ruining the vacation) to resolve this. I even had to call my bank to obtain a number to get these charges reversed since your staff was unable to figure this out on their own. I was also NEVER OFFERED ANY alternative and was told they were "almost" fully booked (on a Wednesday??) and basically said "like it or leave it" in so many words.

Not Worth the Price!
We felt as though the room did not warrant the price paid.

Our trip to Sedona
Service is excellent! The room and bathroom were so dirty that I refused to take a shower. The room was so outdated and it looked like someone smeared the walls with grease and painted over them. The nightly mint service was great. The resturant is tasty however take out a 2nd mortgage on your house in order to pay the bill. That is the most I have ever paid for a meal and it was just my husband and I. When I checked out the bill was large and the representative acted as if she was doing me a favor to take my money. The grounds are beautiful!!!

I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!
I think this inn was wonderful. It had a gorgous facility, with excellent service. It had cheap prices, with great value. The location was beautiful and convinient to all the major highlights of Sedona. I can't wait to go back!

Restaurant was a rip-off
We made the mistake of eating Thanksgiving dinner at L'auberge de Sedona. They seem to think that one ounce servings of otherwise very tasty food adds something to the value (we spent over $400 for 3, btw). Think again!

Very Romantic!
Very romantic getaway! Staff was wonderful. Food was fabulous. The restuarant next to the creek was so great, as well as the food. Too bad my date wasn't all that great!

Our dream wedding
My husband and I were married at L'Auberge in the Summer of 2005. It was the perfect setting and the staff was so helpful and curteous. I would recommend this place 100% and we plan to continue returning every anniversary!
