we visited Sedona in Oct. We did a lot, saw a lot, but the best thing of all cost $2.00 the Moonlight Hike at Red Rock state park. Phyllis was our group guide,and she obviously loves her job and this park. We hiked at dusk and were able to see the full moon as it came up over the mountains. It was breathtaking!!! I'll never forget it. We hiked back in the dark, and got a view of the clear night, It was the absolute best thing we did on the whole trip. If you ever get the chance, do this for yourself.

Great place, wow. We drove the winding roads with a convertable mustang. So imagine looking up on both sides of you to see this huge bright red pillars, that go on and on. All sorts of strange formations. One problem, it was very HOT!!! we eventually had to put the top up, we were roasting.. If we do it again, we would go earlier or later in the day. It was our honeymoon and we were all over Sedona looking and trying to feel the vortex. Recomend buying a map. I have the best pictures from that day... highly recomend this place.

Peaceful and Beautiful. I took loads of pictures, but I wish I would have had more film and a better camera. The Rock formations and native plants and animals wish you could have a personal place here to your own. This is a place you could really desire selfishness from others.

This is a great place to visit! This is a beautiful natural setting! The price is very reasonable at $6.00/car. There was good educational materials and the staff was very helpful!

The natural beauty is outstanding and the ease of a simple walk or challenge of a more strenuous hike is there so take your pick.
