Wupatki National Monument is home to some incredible prehistoric pueblos built by early wizards of masonry; the American Indians who once farmed this rugged terrain. Three trails each promise unique and rewarding sights within this self-guided scenic park. Visitors can picnic atop a cinder cone and enjoy panoramic views from Doney Mountain Trail. Bring your hiking shoes, camera, and quest for adventure. A visitors' center offers exhibits and restrooms. The USD3 park admission fee is also redeemable at Sunset Crater Volcano Monument.
