This striking space is considered by many to be the ultimate Japanese dining experience in Red Rock country. If you are a sushi aficionado, this is the place to put your taste buds to the test. Ambiance, Great Food & Excellent Service
Our trip to Sedona, AZ was awesome and our dinner at Takashi Japanese Restaurant helped to make our visit special. The prices were about what you'd expect and maybe a hair more than at a traditional Japanese restaurant, but we expected that for good Japanese food. The atmosphere had an original and authentic feel and the service was exceptional. I like to judge a Japanese restaurant by their tempura and Takashi hits the mark. The tempura batter is not too thick and "bread-like" and it's also not too thin and light either. You won't find much better anywhere--at least Japanese restaurants I've visited. Overall I give Takashi a 4 out of 5. Well worth checking out.

Worst "Japanese Restaraunt in AZ"
The traditional Japanese Feel is not here!! It was clean and friendly, but... My wife is Japanese and I have lived there for 20 years or so and this was not traditional Japanese cuisine. It was not satisfying at all ( old Fish made us sick for days ). If you paid me a lot of money to dine here again I would pass up the opportunity. Owner was RUDE!!! , staff was pleasant!!!
