Our place to stay next time back in Sedona.
I'm reading all these nasty reviews and can only come to one conclusion; their dad never told them "you get what you pay for". First of all we stayed there 6 nights. Smelly room? Not ours and we stayed in 2 rooms (our choice). Front desk was friendly almost to the point of being overly chatty. Breakfast was a treat as well especially if you like real Belgian waffles (cooked by you). Also, cold cereal and toasted bread or baggles to choose from.

Keep going!
Our King room with jaccuzi was worth half of what we paid. First off, the room smelled and the decor was cheap. Then we discovered no towels. Then, no TV remote. We went to Sedona for dinner (which is a 20 minute drive) and came back to the hotel to find no parking! In the morning, breakfast included 4-day-old Walmart donuts. Looking for a place to stay in this beautiful neck of the world...keep looking!

Excellent Value!
We just stayed at the Wildflower Inn and were thrilled. We had planned to stay there 2 nights and then move into Sedona for 2 more nights. We liked the room so much we went ahead and stayed for 4 nights. The rooms are very well appointed for the money. They offer a light but nice breakfast. The views of Bell Rock and other landscape is beautiful. We got a terrific deal via the net and avoided the higher tax rate in Sedona. It is also more convenient to I-17 and is the closest hotel in Oak Creek Valley to Sedona-10-15 mins away.

Might have gone back
My husband and I liked this hotel the only really bad thing was that we came across a big bug in our bed and was afraid to fall asleep but told myself what are the chances of finding another one. Sure enough a little later there was another one. Unfortunately this happened otherwise we would definitely stay here again. We go to Sedona at least twice a year and think about this hotel a lot and want to stay there again but am afraid of finding bugs again. Otherwise we would recommend it.

Rude Staff, better than ordinary decor
As others have noted, the front desk staff was rude - sort of Manhattan attitude with New Age trappings. On check-in, I was reading the "don'ts" list (no pets, etc) when the clerk snatched it away from me and insisted on reading it aloud. I asked about Internet access, and was told I could use WiFi in the lobby.

Dirty, unfriendly staff
We stayed their for 2 nts & the room was smelly & not clean & to top it of the front desk was a total disappointment & shame, rude to a point that you wanna check out immediately. Absolutely unfriendly, uncooprative management.

We'll go back to the Wildflower
We've stayed at the Wildflower twice and both times, it was everything weneeded. Clean, comfy, good location, good price. It is a motel....not a 5 star hotel but hey! Who spends much time in the room when visiting such a beautiful area? Breakfast was your typical coffee and cereal which was fine.

We love the place!
Every time we have a visitor from out of town, we take them to Sedona and stay at the Wildflower Inn. It's safe, cozy, the staff are great and it's an excellent value! While it's not in downtown Sedona, it is near the Outlet malls and beautiful scenery.

Its a rip off.
They try to get you to book on-line, with a minimum of 2 days for their specials, but when you get there, its a musty dump with extremely rude front desk help. Just about anywhere else in Sedona is a better value. e.g. Best Western or any chains, or for only a bit more you can stay at Amara, where the help is gracious and the rooms immaculate.

Wonderful Memories!
We stayed at the Wildflower Inn whole month. We had the suite which opened onto the deck and a wonderful unobstructed view of Bell Rock. It was a great place to stay!
