Expensive and well used rooms.
The furnitue in the rooms was dirty. And house keeping did not clean the room very well. There was food crumbs on the floor in the corners that should have been vacuumed up. The front door had settled, and it was very hard to open.

Great place to stay!
We have stayed in Flagstaff many, many times but on this particular weekend, many of the hotels and motels we are familiar with were booked. So we took our chances and drove to Flag and decided to walk in and check out a few we hadn't stayed at before. Looking online, Days Inn got our attention because of the game room and large pool. We were very impressed as soon as we walked in. The staff was very friendly and room rate was a value. We had a blast playing pool, however, don't forget your cash, each game is a dollar. Another great suprise was a bar available in the lobby near the games. Our only complaint there was the pricing. Very expensive for beer($5) and mixed drinks($6). The swimming pool was fantastic. Large and very, very clean. On Sunday morning, someone was out there cleaning it for a good deal of time and her hard work showed! Breakfast was decent-nothing fancy by any means. There were a lot of guests and only one woman working to refill items, so a few things ran empty but did eventually get filled. We would have liked to have had some fresh fruit, which is not offered. The rooms were clean and good sized. All in all, we had a wonderful trip and will definitely stay at this Days Inn again!

The Family will not use this Hotel again
I like the pool. BUT! we noticed these things in the room: 1 - Room A/C was not cold enough even though set to MAX COLD. 2 - Refrigerator not cold enough 3- Microwave charge for $10/night 4-Power outlet to one of the lamps not working 5-Wi-fi too slow 6-Main door of room not properly weatherstripped allowing noice and hot air to come in the room 7- Towel hanger left uninstalled on the floor with its mounting hardware in the bathroom. With all these inconveniences, maybe we can say "We got what we paid for"

Nice hotel for the cost
Overall, I have to say that I'm pleased with the hotel for the price paid. The room was clean, and I received pretty good service. The only downfalls are the railroad behind the hotel (loud at times), and the extra $2.50 fee per night for utilities (not mentioned when reserving room). I'd stay in again. Hotel offered nothing spectacular; however the room was clean, and safe!

Breakfast
The motel is good for the money you have to pay. But they have a really poor breakfast.

They promise the World . . . .
I booked 3 rooms - requested ground floor with fridge & microwave. I got first floor with no fridge and no microwave. They would not allow us to change as "we had already entered the rooms." They claimed rooms were newly renovated. Well, they all smelt musky - on the second night, 2 rooms leaked through the roof when it rained. WE had to ask reception for screwdriver to fix the interleading door. When it came to bathing the children, all 3 rooms did not have a bath plug. Breakfast was a case of having to ask the staff to replenish again and again. Many rooms had white tape on the curtains to cover up tears, sun damage. I could go on and on but am limited to 4000 characters. Customer Services promised a response in 2 weeks, and guess what - no response. Days inn promise * As our guest, you can expect warm hospitality and clean comfortable rooms where everything works . . . . * We are prepared to resolve any situation that does not meet our high standards * We are personally responsible and strive to ensure you have an exceptional stay.

Dont Stay
Watched the lady take food off a table that someone had left for trash and didn't eat and put it right back in for someone else to eat. Then after touching trash she put out food for people using her bare hands.

Overcharged
Do not give these folks your credit card. I was charged twice for a single night's stay and, despite frequent efforts, I cannot find anyone who believes me, thinks its a problem and is willing to help get it straightened out. They wont even call you back. Its months later and really annoying.

Wonderful Pet Friendly hotel in Flag!
Needed an affordable place to stay that allowed pets, and this one was a winner. Pet rooms are located in a separate building (great if you're NOT stayuing with your pet!)with designated walking area complete with "scoopers". Slight walk across the parking lot for the lobby and complimentary breakfast area. There is a terrific diner right across Rt 66, and many other restaurants within a short drive. Depending on what side of building you face you could score a fantastic mountain view. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. My only complaint was the thin walls. If your neighbor played the Tv loudly or had a barking dog, you could find this a problem. Overall clean with great service.
