Back to Die Werf pretoria's finest for game.... excellent location amongst the trees, the atmosphere was fantastic as would be expected for a friday night. Service was exemplary even with a full restaurant, but saving best to last, the food was everything you could hope for from a game specialist restaurant. We kept off the menu and dived into the specials, starting with the kalahari prawns (sheep's liver wraped in sheep lining) which was devine, followed by the ostrich special (ostrich steak presented medium rare, accompanied by roasted marrow bone, to be spread over the steak and cuscus). The food was complemented with a bottle of merlot or two... perfect local wine for local game food.
