Back to Courtyard Jackson TERRIBLE! Toilet did not work reliably, even after man came to fix it. Spent four nights there. Housekeeping cleaned and straightened room only once. No change of bed linens. Had to go begging for clean towels. Noisy room air conditioner. Poor service at breakfast. All for $131 per night.
Reviewed by: DAVIS from on Aug 04 2009 Will not be my first choice again We were traveling thru Mississippi on Jul 5, 2008 and chose Courtyard Marriott because Marriott usually has nice accommodations. The front desk person was very nice and did upgrade our room because the one I had reserved was not ready. However, the pool and spa were disgusting. The water was so dirty that I would not let my children go in the pool. You could not see the bottom of either one. I booked the room because the pictures of the pool were inviting but what a disappointment. This will not be my first choice again.

Reviewed by: Apryl from on May 03 2007 Jackson Marriott Courtyard When we arrived, no one at the front desk. We waited approximately 20-30 minutes before the clerk arrived to check us in. The room was large, but did not compare with other rooms in the same chain. The mattress obviously needed to be thrown out, it was hard and lumpy. The morning cleaning crew knocked on the door before 8 am, checkout was 11 am. Overall, our stay was disappointing, yet compared to other rooms we've had, it sadly ranks as an average stay.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 21 2005 Horrible My husband and I stayed in a whirlpool suite for Valentine's Day. It was late when we got to the room and we had ended up having our 5 month old baby with us. We finally got her to sleep and were going to use the whirlpool. After we had filled the tub and started getting in we noticed brown stuff floating in the water and the bubbles were brown. It was horrible and of course completely ruined the mood. As stated it was late, probably 1 a.m. and we had just gotten the baby to sleep- so we waited till the next morning to contact the desk. They would not even discount our room price to the price of a room w/o the whirlpool and said they could've come and blasted the jets out if we had called the night before...how romantic huh-not to mention it would have woke up the baby and we couldn't have used it anyway. We even called the corporate office who called the hotel but they still would not do anything except offer us points on marriot rewards.
