extremely dangerous
My husband and I are very experienced riders and thought this would be a fun way to see the beautiful scenery in Aspen. The guide we were with on this horse trail was thrown off her horse in the first thirty minutes of the ride she had no experience with leading tours on horseback. She then stopped her horse on a sliding slope and all I could hear behind me was my husbands horse sliding backwards on the slippery rocks (small broken rocks that are like glass) thank god we were experienced because I knew to stay calm. It was a really bad experience that could have ended in a tragedy. It is just absolutely not safe. Especially, for children!

The most wonderful place i have ever been!
I loved the amazing veiws, every one there was so friendly, and the owner, Rick is the sweetest guy. I also loved the horse-back-riding. My whole experience in general was just perfect.

Not so great
The value was very good, as this is a beautiful place to live and much less than one would pay anywhere else in Aspen, but I wouldn't go back, because of the way I was treated by the landlord. She was very hard to deal with and unreasonable. In addition, the cabin we lived in had hundreds of bats living in the roof.

T Lazy 7 Ranch
My husband and I took our honeymoon in March of 2001 to the T Lazy 7 Ranch. It was one of the best vacations I have ever had. The people were extremely friendly. Every afternoon my husband and I would go to the lodge for drinks and would stay for hours chatting with the bartender. If I can remember correctly his name was Chaz, he had a new story for us everyday. He also was the leader on our snowmobile trip. That was such a blast! I would recommend the ranch to any and everyone!!! One problem....the ranch is located up a mountain so during the winter it is sometimes tricky to get to if the roads have not been cleared. But, we didn't really run into any major problems except the first day when we arrived. The rental car company gave us a Chevy Metro!! Yeah, that thing did not want to make it up the mountain in all that snow. So we had to go back and get another car. But other than that no real problems.
