Back to Radisson SAS Slavjanskaya Overpriced hotel of last resort A frequent traveler to Moscow, I've stayed at a number of hotels in the city and simply cannot recommend this hotel. The facilities are worn, the atmosphere is dingy, and the service is abrupt and irritable. The standard rooms are small, and while there are non-smoking floors, the rooms on the side facing the Kiev station can provide a whiff of diesel and coal exhaust from the idling trains. I would put this hotel in the same category as the Crowne Plaza - an old, Intourist place - with old, sprawling facilities and thuggy security guys hanging around the lobby, but at the same time, it's safe, it's not terrible, and its location is central. But given what you pay, you will likely walk away feeling disappointed and resentful. For the same money, there are better values in Moscow if you're looking for a western hotel experience, e.g., the Renaissance or the Marriott hotels. Anyway you look at it, be prepared to pay.

All services were efficient, discrete, the hotel was always silent. The hotel is near to a subway station, in the center of the city. For sure, the best choice for staying in Moscow confortably and feeling like in my home. Excellent!
