Reviewed by: Olga from on Jun 05 2007 Quaint town to visit We liked the relaxed atmosphere of P-Town, and enjoyed walking the narrow streets with shops lining both sides of the street. Bought some very nice pieces of silver jewelry ( nautical ), and other merchandise. It was pleasant to walk on the wharf breathing in the ocean air and munching on whole clams. yummy
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 15 2006 I'm going back! Whale watching, the beach, Commericial Street, great restaurants, lots of entertainment, there's something for everybody here. Visit the Pilgrim Monument, the Wharf, the sea shore. Its one of the biggest gay and lesbian destinations in the US, but also accomodating to families and open minded people of every pursuasion.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 05 2005 Our second home I've stayed in P-Town with my partner 5 times in the last 4 years. Each time we have stayed in a different hotel or B&B, the last time renting a private cottage in Truro, right next to P-Town. It's the perfect place to go to get away from everything because life is just slower on the Cape.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 22 2005 Wish I were there I had a great time with my family. Whale watching and other charters are well worth it. Then a seafood dinner at any one of the dockside resturants is just heavenly. Shopping galore and lots of people watching round out the day. Oh and don't miss the veiw from the tower and check out the muesum. Good stuff. Been here 17 times and keep coming back.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 21 2005 Best trip on small budget for adventurers. What a blast we had. We only had $1000 for our entire vacation for two. It was July of 1990. We decided to do a farm style B&B (Rose Hall?) in Great Barrington that was heaven. Then we camped our way to the Cape. Several places were quite accomodating in the wee hours of the night. When we landed in Ptown, we went on a sunset whale watch cruise. It was the greatest trip of my life. I'll never forget it and would do it again in a heart beat.
