Looking Forward to visit #3
Sedona is a beautiful, powerful place, that I can't seem to get enough of. My husband and I have been there twice, and are returning for a third trip this year. The vortex experience is personal. Both my husband and I felt a positive, calming, and renewing energy. The chapel is beautiful. We rented a motorcycle, and rode to Jerome. It was a fun day trip. We visited the Grand Canyon twice, and are planning a trip to Havasu Falls this year. The white buffalo are just past Flagstaff on route to the Grand Canyon, and are yet another spiritual experience. I'm not sure what the message is I'm supposed to get here. I will continue to return until I figure it out. The hiking is great. Each visit is more enjoyable than the next.

Gorgeous but Awful!!
All 5 family members drove down from Flagstaff, I couldn't believe how beautiful the scenery was. I'm a painter and really appreciated the colors and depth of rock height and design. However, when I got out of the car at the Church I felt so dizzy and sick, like I was not in my body. I could only think that I needed to go to a hospital. My brother quickly put me in the car as the others climbed to the church. We went into town and walked a little and had lunch. I still felt ill like I was in a blender. I did not know at the time about a Vortex. I really loved the view but I'm terrified to ever return to this place because I felt so horrible. I've been to Peru, and I know it wasn't altitude sickness. Sedona is too strange for me.

we can't wait to move there
I loved the energy of this place. We had a difficult time trying to figure out a way to get to the top safely. We were a little nervous about the trip back down. However, once we started back down, we discovered a much better descent then the route we had taken to go up. Perhaps better markings for safer routes?

pure tranquility
I am from Missouri and we have some beautiful places here, but I have never experienced a place that is so peaceful and awesome. The sunsets and sunrises brought tears to my eyes, while being overwhelmed with a strong sense of warmth and well-being.

Sedona Magic
Clean air! Unbelievable colors of the soil and rock. Driving around is a delight, something magical to see around every turn. Bring your hiking boots even if you are not a hiker because the views and peacefulness are everywhere. It was chilly when my wife and I visited, but that made our leisurely hikes pleasant. Loved our Pink Jeep tour to the Indian cliff dwelling site. Their guides are wonderful.

Highlight of the trip
This is the most unusual aspect of Sedona. We went with a guide who I would highly recommend, Pete Sanders, who is down to earth, an MIT graduate, whose explanations were clear, blending the scientific and spiritual, and ultimately intriguing. He is also a very careful guide...you won't be stumbling down the hills with him, or terrified. Beyond that, the experience of the vortexes is personal. Pete's aim is to show people how to develop this further, rather than just having a spectacular experience. Well worth it if you're interested in vortexes.

Airport Vortex Terrified Me
The airport vortex is supposed to be a masculine energy. Claims have been made that this vortex is supposed to give you courage and make you less fearful. My experience was terrifying! I felt so depressed and had an inpending feeling of doom so profound I could not reach the top of the summit.

Magical Energy
Okay ~ not everyone is going to experience the energy of a vortex, but most people do. It can be invigorating or calming.
