Very Nice
Hotel room is big and clean but the parking charge is quite expensive. If you can find a good deal with this hotel, it will be much greater than the one on Banff Avenue. It worth the extra money.

Unforgettable!
We booked 2 nights in Banff with our travel agent here in Australia based on information from the Internet and views of the area on Google Earth.

A major disappointment
While the lobby and setting are lovely, the "deluxe" room was a disaster. The draperies were hanging off the rods, and the blankets were frayed and too small for the beds. Worse was the state of the bathroom. The tiles were chipped and black from mildew and mildew covered the ceiling.

Best hotel in the Rockies
More elegant than Banff Springs, no endless tours with the lobby always full of luggage.

Great Hotel
This was a very nice hotel that is well maintained and has excellent restuarants. We had one minor issue, but this was handled promptly by hotel staff.

My Girlfriend said the spa was world class(5.25hr treatment) Not sure what it was called. just like every Resort need to spend some to get somthing in return. well worth the extra money! better value then banff spings. all in all a 600sq Ft bright room in the rockies with a large personal belcoany and wood fire place. life dosen't get any better!will return every year.

Child friendly!
We recently stayed at the Rimrock for 2 nights. We rented a suite which was spacious and comfortable for 5 adults and a baby. The service was great and we found the staff flexible and they went out of their way to provide us with 'baby gear'!

Would always want to go back
I had a great vacation using the Rimrock as my homebase in Banff. The view from my room was breathtaking -- beautiful rocky mountain ranges. The food at the hotel was top quality. The saltwater pool was just great after a day of hiking. The spa adds a nice touch as well. The free shuttle between the Rimrock and Banff made getting in and out of town for sightseeing and meals very easy, especially if I didn't feel like driving.
