From the meticulous care of the facilities to the unfailing pleasantness of every member of the staff to the quality of every aspect of the resort, our enjoyment of Cliffside was outstanding. We plan to return next year. Continental breakfast may have been improved upon slightly.

What a beautiful hotel!!! The thought put into every detail blows me away. My children were given sand toys and were charmed by the 'beach boys'. My husband was impressed with the gym, while I loved the massage-like beach chair complete with plush beach towel that they set up for you. The staff is always smiling and willing to lend a hand. Ask for anything and they will find it for you. The owner even lent my husband a rain jacket for an evening!

We have stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment for 16 years with our sons and occasionally their friends. It is like Nantucket used to be- laid back, a great bed, a sand pit that when very young was the perfect play pen, and the ocean is the sound so the wave action is mild for little ones. Nirvana for us.

Child unfriendly. They were late to check us in. Pool is frigid and only open in the am for children (when its colder). We opted for room with kitchen but it had no microwave or coffee machine. No hand held spary or bathtub to wash children. Small beach. Constant smell of cooking fish coming from restaurant. Some of the staff are obnoxious. Much nicer places to stay in the Cape Cod region.

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY ON NANTUCKET. WE HAVE HAD 8 WONDERFUL YEARS WITH OUR CHILDREN

After 13 stays in the last 16 years, and spending much time checking out the competition which, in my opinion, doesn't measure up, I think Cliffside is a must stay for anyone visiting Nantucket. Warm, courteous, and ever helpful staff, the beach right outside my door, and an ambiance that is inviting and relaxing, I'll be returning until I'm no longer able.
