A place to relax
My wife and I have traveled to Nantucket for several years now and have chosen the Roberts House Inn as our home away from home. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and the service is excellent. If you need to relax or if you love to shop around, then you must visit the many nearby shops, or just sit out on the front porch and soak up what Nantucket is all about. You just can't beat the location they have. The choices are plenty when it comes to dinning. You can walk to nearly all of the downtown restaurants within 10 minutes. I could go on and on about the RHI but you will just have to go there for yourself and see what I feel is the best place to relax and the best starting point to experience what Nantucket has to offer.

Mother's Day on Nantucket
The Robert's House is one of the finest Inns based on location and accomodating staff. We have spent the past two Mother's Days there with a considerable group (18 the first year and 12 the next) with only the nicest experiences. The continental breakfast room on the lower level converts into a community room later in the morning that is available to any and all of he guests. With groups the size of ours, it was a necessity for planning and socializing. It also functions nicely as a "good-natured" Texas Hold'em championship room. We have only one problem and that is the weather. We have battled storms both times, but even that did not dampen (pardon the pun)our spirits or good time.

Home away from Home
My husband and I honeymooned on Nantucket 30years ago. We come back every year to celebrate and have settled in at the Roberts house as our choice of places to stay on the Island. It is like our home away from home. Our children have adopted our habits with my daughter and Son in law staying at the same place on their honeymoon. The peace and tranquility is priceless. It is truely a romantic place to be.

A nice stay at the Roberts House Inn
My fiancee and I recently stayed at the Roberts House Inn while on Nantucket to plan our Sept '05 wedding. First, we worked with Swains Travel to get a great package. We paid just under $400 for 3 nights, r/t ferry tickets, and a $50 gift certificate that could be used at over 6 restaurants. It was a nice deal in our opinion, although it was the off season. I would never expect such a deal during the summer season. Our room was small but adequate, w/a queen size bed. It overlooked the quaint and cute Centre St. Breakfast was nice (muffins, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, but no juice) and was provided in the downstairs room. A nice porch to sit and visit on, and a nice sitting room inside the front door. I would recommend the RHI to anyone planning a stay in Nantucket. You can't beat the location and the off season price.
