This club started out as a small, funky beer and wine bar frequented by artists, musicians and academics. The owners soon added rooms, decks and a small grill, and it became one of Providence's most popular nightspots. On hot summer nights, the decks are especially popular; a great place to sip a beer and "people" watch. If you come at dinnertime you can order tasty grilled food. The Hot Club has a small parking lot and is a cash-only establishment. There is no cover charge.
