We asked to be seated, there was 2 families traveling together. When we were seated we said there was 2 families, one with 5 people the other with 2. When the bill came they added an outrageous 20% gratuity, we were just served a simple lunch, I could see if we had a several course meal, but we only seen our waitress twice. The menu said 20% added to parties of 6 or more, we were only 5 and the other family was 2, if we would have known that we would have pushed the 2 tables apart. The waitress was a bit rude and was annoyed when we asked to see the manager. The manager was worse. In all fairness the food was GREAT. Would we go back, definitely YES. We would just have to be more careful reading the rules. I am not a cheap person when it comes to tipping, I just don't like to be told what to give, I probably would have given their asking ammount anyway, but let me decide what to leave as a gratuilty. if there is a mandatory gratuity it should be the customary 15%.
