What did I like? Where to start?? We went here during our stay in Madrid and were absolutely blown away. It was our first foray into food by or inspired by Adria and Terraza del Casino did not disappoint. The creativity and beauty of the food was amazing; many of the dishes were whimsical--there is no better word to describe them. We had the menu degustacion and each dish made us laugh or look up in surprise. Never have I experienced such emotions during a meal. Our only complaint was a man eating alone on his cell phone for half of our meal. The Terraza is in a kind of private club and we assumed he was a member. The service was outstanding and friendly, but not overbearing or intrusive. After our "almuerzo" a server took us out to the balcony to admire the views of Madrid. I have never experienced a meal like this in my life. My only sadness is that I cannot describe it to friends and family! Words simply do not do the food justice!

We are restaurateurs and for my husbands 40th we decided to go to Terraza del Casino, having been to the wonderful Hacienda Benazuza in Seville also a Ferran Adria establishment. The food was not a patch in comparison and a lot more pricey. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere ok but we paid a lot of money and kept waiting for that wow factor to appear but sadly it did not happen. Won´t go back to this one again but still trying to get into El Bulli!
