
Centrally located historic inn

My boyfriend and I stayed overnight here on a trip to Providence last fall. Though we do not consider ourselves "B&B people," we both loved this place. The manager was very friendly and relaxed (not at all the stereotype of the pushy B&B host) and he showed us a few rooms so that we could pick the one that suited us best. Old Court has the charm of an inn, the conveniences of a hotel (private bathroom, cable tv), and is in a very convenient location (between Brown University and downtown Providence -- we were able to walk to both easily). And, though it sounds trite, we truly did awaken to the smell of fresh baked muffins and ate a delicious breakfast before heading out to explore this cool little city.

We couldn't wait to leave.
We were celebrating our anniversery and decided to book a nite here. Well it was a very big let down...
