Back to Hard Rock Hotel Bali the best ever The best pool in the world with a swim up bar (called the Shack).. We stayed in the pool from 10.00am 'till 6.00pm =] ! We rented a cabanna for two days - Each in Cabanna 26 - That cabanna even had a ladder straight into water (since it was on water).
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 11 2008 Cannot wait to go back Best pool, with swim up bar, excellent food, wide choice for breakfast. Live music, lovely clean rooms. Right next to beaches and shopping. Cannot go wrong with a holiday here
Reviewed by: Julia from on May 12 2008 2nd time staying here. Great place for families and couples. Huge pool, water slides, rock climbing wall. Games room for teenagers. Huts for hire around pool. Best breakfast choice, changes daily, must be good teenage boys left full every day. Staff freindly. Rooms basic and a bit worn, but we only showered and slept in them, very clean . Great position, close to shops, supermarket, across from beach, restaurants in Poppies lane.Been to Bali 8 times, hoping to go back this year and stay at the Hardrock again. Please be aware when you give your credit card as security against room, they block $500 Aus from your card in case of damage. Luckily we hadn't planned on spending that money while there, or we would not have had enough spending money.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 10 2007 this place is rock... i like the atmosphere of this hotel, and also its perfect location right facing the famous kuta beach. The stage on the first floor, with it's live music and live dancing performance really amaze me.
Reviewed by: taufik from on Jan 17 2007 I'll be back I dislike to the cleaning service room , cuz they never change or put the new soap every day. If I know when I was in the 5 star hotel in Bali and I sleep at The Presidential suite, they change every day ( soap etc) So I think if I come back to this hotel and stay at Family suite that the cleaning service room can do it. Bravo Hard Rock Hotel in Bali.
Reviewed by: jozef from on Jun 12 2006 Expensive and untraditional Hard Rock hotel bali is great if you want a good ol' american hotel experience is the middle of bali. Its majorly overpriced for bali. The drink and food prices are ridiculouse. The hotel staff are arogant. And they put us in a ground floor room that looked onto a ugly looking path when we had booked for a whole week. Get this. A large rat ran into our room from the ugly footpath. Not the bali experiance your after. FORGET IT!
Reviewed by: Amador from on Apr 15 2006 Wonderful holiday getaway! Me & my wife had a nice deal on the hotel from our travel agent ($95/N + 1% Tax). We stayed for 3D2N. At first, it was all because the "brand name" when we chose this place. But when we got there, the hotel was cool & the staff was very nice (even the intern ones). But the best was the pool & the location (beach accross the street & the Kuta Square around the corner). So, it's a great place for holiday (note: just holiday). Why? Here's why: all the hotel rooms types are the same. They just differ by themes and the view/access. Rooms with the pool view/access and garden view/access, which are in the ground floor, should have higher price than others. And the soundproof of the rooms are not as I expected. So, for you honeymooners, you might not get as much privacy here. Well, maybe if you stayed on the rooms at the top floor. Next, the pool, some say it's the "main attraction" of the hotel. It opens at 8AM. But because it's a large place, the staff couldn't finish preparing the pool on time. For you morning-swimmers, like myself, this could be a problem. My advice to them: open earlier (7AM) and prepare earlier. I'm not too fond of swimming in the afternoon-evening. Otherwise, it's a great pool to swim/play in. As for touring around Bali, we used the HR tour agent. Turns out, not that expensive than I thought. For hotel guests, will cost you around $50 for the car rent (parking & gas included) for the whole day. While booking outside will cost around $35. I thought it would cost me double the outside. But when you get to know the guide, you can contact him directly for your next tour for the $35 price. Maybe lower, if you can negotiate better. Conclusion, all-in-all, the HR resort is a great place for (family) holiday! Cheers!
