Amankila is a dream place to be on weekends! The view to the ocean and the rolling hills behind is just incredible. The staff are friendly and have really pampered us Try that famous three-tier infinity pool overlooking the ocean - or one by the beach house between those tall coconut trees.

Amankila or "peaceful hill" is a cliff-side beach resort with panoramic views of Lombok Strait and the verdant coastline of Klungkung, East Bali. An hour's drive from the airport in Denpasar, the capital city of the province of Bali, is a world away from the busy resorts area. 34 free-standing suites, with their alang alang roof thatching, are fashioned as beach houses but ate the same time they reflect the lines and flow of their East Bali surroundings. All the Amankilas suites are elevated to take advantage of the spectacular views to the sea and surrounding hillsides. Suites are connected to the reception and restaurant area by stepped walkways.

Great , off the beaten path location. Service is amazing, rooms are great. Paradise!Definetely recommend the Ammankila and the Candidasa area, over many other overpopulated areas closer to Denpasar.
