Kettingreacties means chain reaction. It is conducted at NEMO and lasts around 15 minutes. Several shows are held daily. Chain Reaction is a hilarious presentation which involves interaction from visitors as well. It is about action and reaction, cause and effect, kinetic and potential energy. The kids will definitely enjoy here.

Zeepbellen means bubbles. At NEMO you can learn how to make huge bubbles and get yourself locked inside. The detergent used to make such huge bubbles comes from America and the bubbles are created with a proper mix of water and glycerin. You can learn how to make these bubbles and also buy the detergent and try it out at home.

National Museum Weekend

During National Museum Weekend, which usually takes place in April, you can visit a large number of Amsterdam's museums at a reduced price, or even for free. As many as 500 museums take part, so refer to the website for information on dates and venues. There are even special tours only available during this time.
