Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 09 2009 Very Disappointed with our Cruise Disney Cruise Lines does not disclose the the ship would be undergoing major painting during our cruise. Over the course of the cruise, there were painters all over the ship painting. They closed the big pool on the last day of the cruise so it could be painted and closed the only other pool early for maintenance. My children were very upset since they had nowhere to swim. When I approached the staff about the closing of the pool, they rudely ignored me. I called guest services and they passed me off to Disney Cruise Communications who could only apologize and say there is nothing they can do. It was like staying in a hotel during a renovation. Why couldn't they have painted the ship while it was sitting in port before our cruise. Although we started out having fun, Disney Cruise Lines failed to meet our expectations. I will not recommend a Disney Cruise to anyone.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 10 2009 Disney cruise line a very long review This cruise was awsome. I am just a kid but the Disney cruise is like familey to me. My familey of four went to the 4 night bahama cruise and it was fantastic. We first boarded the ship at about 12:00p.m and went to our stateroom(cat.8 stateroom with porthole). It was my birthday and they comlemented me every second of the first day. I was turning 12.Then we walked from deck to deck mezmorizing the ship. Then at 4:00, we went to deck 4 for the manditory boat drill. Afterwards we went to deck 9 for the bonvoyage deck party. It was awsome! Then at 6:00, we went to the early seating dinner. We went to Parate Cay. The food was great. At 8:00, I went to the oceaneries lab and played around for 4 hours. At 12:00, we fell asleep in our stateroom and dose off.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 31 2009 Don't stop in St. Croix We just finished our 7 night cruise stopping first in St. Croix. After we left, we found out we were the second ship to stop there in the last 10 years. It wasn't surprising. The "city" was dreadful. Besides having nothing to do, the excursions were poorly planned; every comment I heard was bad. Luckily, the beach was very nice (but small) and the snorkeling was superb. This is one port that Disney didn't work out well enough.

Reviewed by: Lauren from on Nov 30 2008 Best Family Trip to Date Although it was our first one, it was the best we have had thus far. My 2 year old loved every minute. The pictures, the food, the pool. Castaway Cay was worth the entire trip just by itself. Staff was very kid friendly. Can't wait to do again.
Reviewed by: Craig from on Jul 28 2008 Great Ship, Very well maintained First off the things I liked about the Cruise. We traveled on the 7 Night Western Carribean and the 4 Night Bahama Cruise. I would say that the 7 nights is much better, more programs, more laid back and you have time to explore the ship.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 02 2008 Perfect Family Cruise Our cruise was a 7 day Western Caribbean from 9-16 Feb 2008.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 19 2008 Great time, would recommend it! We began our recent 3 night Bahama cruise on the Disney Wonder by receiving a call that we'd received a complimentary upgrade to a more spacious cabin (The cabin was fantastic, and our cabin host kept the place spotless!)
Reviewed by: Pat from on Dec 23 2007 Disney Wonder 5/07 Well I think we just expected too much! Been on other cruise lines in the past and thought this was going to be truly disney "magical"...not really! Everything seemed so rushed! Kids programming was not good at all, just a babysitting service. No family activities at all. Due to hi waves we did not even dock at Castaway cay, very dissappointed! We were not compensated at all for that huge inconvience! We just hung around the ship all day instead. I also felt that making you eat breakfast on the final day at 7am and then they scoot you out the ship by 8am was crazy! Won't due Disney again...too much money for nothing!
