Fantastic Fun!
Today was a teacher workday, so we tried the Museum. I have an 11 year old and a 3 year old and they were both entranced. We played golf, watched a planetarium show, and they spent hours building with the lego knex pieces. The staff was super friendly, the Museum itself was spotlessly clean and certainly did not smell of mold - we are all sensitive to it and would have left immediately. The whole day cost under $20 (total for all of us!); what a bargain. We'll be back.

Over priced, smelly, old and outdated exhibits
The place was smelly, moldy and way over priced for what they offer. For a MUCH better experience go to the Museum of Discovery in Fort Lauderdale.

SO much fun!
I took my family to the museum to see knex this past weekend. My boys had a great time playing at the build stations. My youngest didn't want to part with his creation, so we bought it and took it home! On top of knex, the museum has beautiful aquariums among other great exhibits - and the staff is very friendly. The boys are begging to go back next weekend. We might just have to purchase a membership.

Not Wortth The Admission
This museum used to be a fun place but has seriously gone down hill. It was fantastic when the large robots where there and they had a lot of cool exhibits, but now the place is dull, boring and dirty.

It's under new management
I have been a member for several years. I have seen this Museum come a long way. Membership had a glitch last year, they lost my information. I made one call and within a week I received my new membership cards. My family loves spending time learning about the stars. You will love the laser light show. I found out that the museum is under a new management team. They were professional and quick to respond to my issue. The museum is an excellent value for parents to teach their young children about the sciences. My friend has enrolled her children in the summer camp program and she LOVES IT! Give it a try.

not so good!
I was very unimpressed with this museum! It is very small and dirty. Compared to other museums, this one lacks a lot of things. I do not suggest this museum to anyone at all!!!

Don't become a Member!
The museum is small, but nice. I like that they have mini-golf (Galaxy Golf) outside, and the planetarium shows are nice too. Just don't become a member. I paid for a Family membership last September 2007, and at the time, I was given a temporary membership card that expired at the end of December. I was told my 'real' cards would arrive before the temporary card expired. No dice. Apparently, the Membership Director quit/left, and there is a stack of membership forms that have not been processed. I was told in early January that they would 'rush' my paperwork. It is now almost March 2008, and I have not received my card. I cannot visit the museum now without paying them even MORE money because I have nothing to prove I am a member. I did not receive an members invitiation to the new exhibit that opened in January, I don't receive the newsletter, and my son who is homeschooled cannot attend the homeschool classes they are supposed to have...because again we have nothing to prove that we have paid them all this money. My 'membership' ends in September 2008. I obviously won't be renewing. They basically just stole my money on my first visit and gave me nothing in return but empty promises. Beware.

Just-- Fun
This place has many things to do and see. They have many interactive exhibits, a big aquarium, puzzles, and one big exhibit that changes once in awhile to somthing new (I think now its the human brain?). Fun for adunts and even more fun for the kids. But it's a little too small and gets boring quick.

great for all ages
when I was a kid I went there on a field trip and now that my niece is old enough to take I'll have a reason to go back time and time again. I think my favorite thing is the star show. I just wanted to say how great I think it is that there's somewhere that children can learn and enjoy at the same time just like I did and now I'm in college for marine science.
