The rooms are small and uninspired. I've seen better decor at chain motels. The bathroom was never really clean. I had to wipe the floor myself every day. The room was never cleaned before 4 pm and the cleaning staff became annoyed when we returned from the swimming pool while they were cleaning the room. Our room was on top a rickety, outdoor staircase with a broken rocking chair on the landing. It took several calls before the broken chair was removed. It also took multiple requests to get a refrigerator brought to our room, which I had requested when I made the reservation.

At $390 per night in early August, the room was smaller than a Holiday Inn. There was not even a hook in the room, closety, or bathroom to hang a garmet.

I love Harbor house! My huge Family goes every year for a week! We always stay at Harbor house because of its great pool, hotel rooms, and being able to walk to town! I love the Harbor House!Come see for your self!!!!!!!!!
