Back to Point Breeze Hotel No Problems I was dissapointed to read the above reviews. We stayed here in May of 2004 in one of the outside "cabin like rooms". It wasn't prime season so the rate was cheaper, but about the same as all the others. It was walking distance to everything, as far was main street and the ferry. My only complaint was that our room wasn't ready when we got there, so we went and did some things and it was ready when we got back.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 14 2006 I Would Never Go Back We would never go back to this place again. This was our first time to Nantucket. It is way too pricey for the accommodations that we received. What was supposed to be a "2-bedroom suite" turned out to be 2 double beds in one room and a futon in another room. The doorknobs were broken and the lighting extremely poor. Air conditioning was offered in the brochure. Our room had air conditioning but other guests in our party in other rooms were without air conditioning. After spending more than $800 for two nights, our party realized we could have probably rented a nice house with air conditioning. The breakfasts were included and were decent. Location was okay. We will not be going back.

My advice, fix these serious fire safety hazards and violations now and then, sprinkler the place, required or not. It's currently a fire trap!
