Back to Jared Coffin House Its not the old JCH anymore ! Forget it ! The Jared Coffin House is nothing like it was in the old days. Restaurant & Bar closed. The service poor. Very overpriced.

The new owners have made many changes to the JCH - including closing the Restaurant " Jareds " & the bar " Tap Room." The restaurant & bar were very popular & wonderful places to relax & enjoy the Nantucket experience - legendary meeting places for natives & tourists alike.

To add to that stress, a neice and a nephew got married in June and had asked that I do the flowers for the rehersal dinners as well as the receptions. They were both large weddings.

The hotel is based on an old mansion and it is in excellent condition. The room was beautiful and the location excellent. The service was not as great! I felt like we needed to show we had money to be treated nice.
