A membership card, which entitles you to discounts, is actually a necessity for the Cave (pronounced just as it is spelt by the regulars) club. The club certainly lives up to its name with a winding staircase leading down to the vaults. Germany's oldest student club was founded in 1954 and has played host to famous stars such as Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Zappa. The range of music has not been affected by all the new technical innovations with the daily music agenda consisting of Blues, 60's and 70's Rock, Reggae, Jazz and Jazz sessions take place regularly.
