Lovely
My husband and I stayed here in early September for 2 nights & we loved it. We got the Deluxe King with the balcony & the room was beautiful! Very luxurious without being fussy & stuffy. Some people might not like going out the giant window to the balcony, but we thought it added to the charm of the hotel & the breeze was great. Noise from street level was minimum.

Can't wait to go back to the Marshall House!
The only thing better than the hotel itself is the service. The rooms aren't gigantic, but they are authentic. Our bathroom had a clawfoot tub with shower hardware. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Turn-down service was nice, beautiful common areas, great breakfast...absolutely no complains. The location is perfect!

Beautiful Hotel!!
I stayed at The Marshall House with my husband less than two weeks ago. It is the perfect location, and is close to everything in the downtown area. From the moment we entered The Marshall House we were beyond taken care of by the staff. They were great with dinner suggestions and calling to make reservations for us. Our room was a King room that was located in the back of the hotel. Even though we did not have a view, we felt like we were in our own private area. There are only 3 rooms in the back of the hotel. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! I wanted to take the pillows home with me!

loved it!
Great service, very helpful staff! Rooms are updated, clean, with very comfortable beds/linens. Great location, within walking distance of waterfront and everything in downtown (Lady & Sons, etc) Savannah. Large continental selection at breakfast. Price is on par with other inns/higher end B&Bs in the area. Would stay again!!

LOVED IT! ************
My husband took me here for a surprise on our way back from a cruise. The hotel is historically interesting, and absolutely gorgeous! Very convenient to everything in historic Savannah.

Can't beat the atmosphere!
I overly enjoyed my 2 night stay. The valet parking attendants were courteous and easy to work with. Wine and cheese in the evening was a hit w/ the Table games that two people can enjoy together. Two waters a day were complimentary and the turn down service was a plus. At first, we thought there would be only 2 little pillows on the bed but turn down service provided 4 big pillows w/o saying a word. Room was small and the original wooden floors did creek but you have to remember the time period of a hotel your staying in AND I was not bothered w/ it. My room was facing the street but there was no noise that bothered me. Continental breakfast was layed out nicely w/o waiting in line. My only disappointment was no Hard boiled eggs and that's not a complaint, just my eating habits. Location is great, would go back and probably get a bigger room next time. Enjoy!

Great Weekend
Stayed in balcony room. Room was great. Everything worked well. (A/C, shower,TV,Refrigerator) Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great breakfast room. So clean you would think it was built in the last month or 2. Would stay there again and again.

Great Everytime
The Marshall House has been nothing but a great experience. We have stayed there twice and had a great time. The first stay allowed us a room with a balcony where we were able to sit in rocking chairs on a beautiful wrought iron balcony and watch the rain. Our second stay found us in an interior room looking out over the charming restaurant. Both rooms were historically beautiful, same goes for the hotel itself. As well, the staff have been more than helpful. They have recommended walking tours and restaurants and have always been right on the money. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!!

A lovely time in Savannah
The Marshall House is located in a prime spot for travelers. We valeted our car when we arrived and didn't pick it up until we checked out 2 days later. We were able to walk everywhere in the historic district from here.

the valet hit my car
we were there over a year ago and the valet hit my car. i could not believe how i was treated, then the police cited them and they still managed to get out of paying for the damage. there was never an apology or anything. the room we had was cold and the hallway was loud. i would never stay there again and i go to savannah quite often. i could not help posting this after reading all the great reviews. unless the management is all new it is not worth the location. i had to pay for the room and then pay for the car repair. go to the hyatt!
