Kick off the Christmas season with an entertaining, festive tree-lighting ceremony in the center of town. The event is co-sponsored by the town of Carmel and the Carmel Business Association, and usually inspires quite a bit of community spirit. Everyone from school children to community officials are on hand and participate in the ceremony. A detailed list of events and presenters will be announced at a later date. The mayor flips the switch to light the tree at 5:45p. Admission is free.
