Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 18 2008 Dunleavy's. The pub is an overall very clean and friendly place where everyone seems to meet and greet you. I'm always finding interesting conversation with the bar servers and since it's all in the family, I feel welcome home to my own proud irish traditions that they always seem to add a tinge to.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 12 2007 Irish meets beach! What a unique place! A family run pub where literally everyone knows your name! An Irish pub .25 miles from the beach...what a concept! I went with a friend of mine who is from Charleston and never saw so many people come up and say hi...and that was the help at the pub! The people are all laid back, the food is fantastic (I recommend the wings! NOT fried...baked and grilled!!!), and the drinks...well the Guiness was delicious and poured freely. Bill and Patty are the owners and Jamie is the manager. Overall...I shall make it a plan to visit EVERYTIME I go to South Carolina...let alone Charleston!! Thanks guys!
