The stones used to construct this 1838 building came to America as ballast in ships that would return to England laden with cotton, and thus the name Ballastone. This elegant B&B sits beside the Julliette Gordon Low House and near garden squares in a very genteel corner of the Historic District. From the opulent common rooms to the antique-appointed guest rooms, the luxury factor is extreme.
