OK, but not the best
The hotel is pristine. The grounds, the pool, the lobby. But the rooms are not well insulated. The noise coming from rooms above and on the sides is a significant problem for hotel of this level and price. The management acknowledge this fact and said many other guests have complained about it in the past, but there is little they can do.

nice hotel
I love the Grand Floridian it is a beautiful hotel and if you are going to the Magic Kingdom you just take the Monorail that is a train that goes around Disney World. The Grand Floridian is so clean and nice but it is not that cheap. It has a big pool and they have a Spa.

It's where you gotta stay
We've stayed at the Grand Floridan about a half a dozen times over the years. We always look forward to it. And if I am working in Central Florida, I will drive there for lunch. It's the best1

Fantastic
My Husband and I have stayed at the GF 3 times now and are looking to book again for Dec 08. The first time we stayed we only stayed for 1 night and had our room upgraded to a honeymoon room in the main building - absolutely fantastic - awesome view of the Castle at Magic Kingdom. Second time, again we were upgraded and had a similar room. Last time we stayed in Big Pine Key, we arrived early so stored our luggage and went and enjoyed a day in the parks, when we came back for our room we were taken by cart with our luggage and had a tour of the grounds, also had chestnuts which were delicious. Our room had a great view of the lagoon and Polynesian. The Maid Service was great and staff very helpful with ADRs at very short notice. Definately worth the money.
