The welcome was warm, the hospitality was friendly and the help and suggestions with restaurants was terrific. Everything was clean and well kepy from the decor to the incredable breakfast. Fantastic Guesthouse Simply put, the carriage house in provincetown was a fantastic place to stay while vacationing on cape cod. We also stayed on martha's vineyard and chatham but this house surpassed both off those and at a cheaper nightly rate too. The rooms are very nice, all similar in style and size. we looked forward to the breakfast each day and the location was perfect - right in the middle of town just off the main drag so you were close but but not on top of everything. You will not regret it. Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Absolutley Terrific the carriage house is everything you expect a great B&B or guesthouse to be, quiet and intimate, friendly but professional, nothings too much to ask. They were full of information about the town and where to eat. The rooms are great, bright and well decorated. We had a corner room with a deck which was just beautiful. They were kind enough to show us the other rooms which were equally as nice. It's close to everything but not on the mail drag which can noisy. Give them a try you will love it! Lovely! We stayed here for a few days and found it to be the best choice of our entire trip. We had been travelling all over New England, staying at small inns and hotels, but many of them were dirty and noisey (especially in the mornings and at night). Not so at the Carriage House. Very nice staff, lovely breakfast, good location, quiet guests and NO KIDS!! Big rooms, too. We're coming back next fall for a longer stay. Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Worth every dime what an excellent stay at this small out of the way b&b in ptown. You wouldn't even know it was there, hidden on a side street close to the center. lots of communal outdoor and indoor space, amenities included a hot tub and sauna which we never used but a fab breakfast served until 11am that we took full advantage of. Order the waffles, there are the best I've had! our room was on the second floor at the corner of the house overlooking the parking lot, 6 I think? not much of a view but bright and cheerfully decorated. I would stay there again.

Reviewed by: First Namericky from on Sep 27 2008 Self Service with Style Not having been to a B&B before I did not know what to expect but the carriage house lives up to it's website by letting you help yourself to everything. There is no requirement to get to breakfast at a certain time or have to be quiet late at night, you can come and go without having to see anyone ...it's great! just what I wanted. Breakfast was yummy, especially the quiche. Coffee was very good and refilled by a ghost because it was never empty. The room was large and had everything you would expect except for bath robes which given how wonderful everything is I wondered why they had not put them in. All in all a great stay and I will go back next year.
