Loved our room, loved sounds and view of canal and would go back any time we are in Venice. Restaurant suggestions by Monica were wonderful! Hotel is very well located for all popular sites and walks. Room was very clean and housekeeping staff was lovely. Doors and windows had great sound-proofing -- quiet when you need it. Don't stay here if you're looking for the big-hotel experience -- do stay here if you want a romantic, charming stay in Venice. NOTE: no elevator; rooms on 2nd floor and up only.
