Back to Doubletree Hotel Cocoa Beach-Oceanfront GREAT place to stay for a beach vacation! We came to this hotel after having spent a week at Disney in a "Value Resort." This hotel's room was much more nicely furnished, and the bedding was downright luxurious! The generously sized fridge and microwave were a nice addition, and the table and desk made enough space for my kids and I to have breakfast or a quick lunch. The pool is smallish, but that was no big deal. Sun deck is large with lots of chairs. We bypassed the pool most of the time, though, and took the boardwalk to the beach. Beach was never crowded and we had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good location for a vacation.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 18 2005 Bad experience Room was not ready at check in so I had to kill an hour. When I checked in, my hotel keys did not work. While in the room, another family walked in on me. Aparently, they had the keys to the room as well. After that keys didn't work 4 more times. It was very annoying and not convenient. Lots of kids playing on elevators, noisy.
Reviewed by: Firestarter from on Jun 27 2004 Great Place! I live in Orlando and head for the beach about 3 times a month. Generally this is where I stay. The staff is friendly, clean rooms and a really nice pool. On the beach they have umbrellas and nice cushion chaise lounges you can rent by the day. Make sure to say hello to Dave in the 3 Wishes bar! Tell him Jamie says HI!
