You might not get the pronunciation of the name right, but you'll surely remember it as that little joint that serves delicious Japanese delights. The Goto Udon, Dashimaki-Tamago and Kakuni offered at Uminoie are just too delicious. With distinct flavors and exotic aromas, the two chefs and owners, Mutsumi Tanaka and Mika Okui, know right away that they've done a great job! If you think this place is crowded during the day, breeze through at night sometime and you'll see the place packed like a box of sardines. You can see people lounging around with their sakes in hand and chatting up with the cooks - yes, the counter service makes that very possible. So the next time you're out night-prowling, with severe hunger pangs and an almost empty wallet, you know this is the best choice!
